Serves: 4 —-> I Love Love Love Guacamole, how about you?
Ingredients, Always Organic
3 Hass avocados
1 tbsp Sea Salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup diced tomatoes
1/8 cup diced onion, yellow or red
1 to 2 medium fresh organic jalapeno peppers
1 good sized hand full of sprigs of fresh cilantro, diced & de-stemmed
1 tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice (your preference)
Note: When smashing the avocado, add the sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, more than suggested may be needed.
Cut the avocados in half lengthwise.
Secret Tip: Remove the pit from the avocado and save one pit and discard the others or grow them! You save the pit because you put the pit in the bottom of the Guacamole, right in the dish, and this will stop the Guacamole from getting all brown on the top!! Fun fact secret tip.
Use a spoon to remove the avocado from the skin, slice it into large cubes, and place the avocado flesh into a medium-size bowl.
Add the salt, and pepper. mash together, then add the other diced ingredients and mix well.
Serve immediately with tortilla or pita chips, and you’ve got yourself an easy-peasy appetizer — with a creative twist — that your friends will love. ¡Olé!
Special Goat Cheese Guacamole
Serves: 4 —> Here’s a great variation if you like goat cheese!
3 Hass avocados
1/3 cup crumbled goat cheese
1/4 cup chopped chives
1/4 cup chopped sun dried tomatoes
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
