CHEESY SPINACH CRESCENTS

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tubes of Pillsbury Crescents®
  • 8 oz Neufchatel cheese- room temperature
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups chopped spinach
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a medium bowl combine both cheeses & the spinach – work together with a spatula – or you can mix in a stand mixer until combined
  3. Open your crescents & lay out flat
  4. Take a heaping tbsp of the spinach mixture & add it to the wider end of each crescent & then roll up
  5. Place on baking sheet & continue with all crescents
  6. In a small bowl combine egg & water & whisk well with a fork
  7. Brush egg wash on the crescents
  8. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown & the cheese is melted
  9. Serve immediately – enjoy!
